5 Self Care Tips for Busy Women
This month is dedicated to taking care of our well being. In this post, we’ll be sharing 5 Self-Care Tips - especially for busy moms and women in general since we are celebrating Mothers and the beautiful journey of Motherhood this May.
1. Create a Morning Routine
It's easy to get overwhelmed by our daily tasks and challenges, so in order to get through a more organized and "less crazy" days, make sure you set and commit to a morning routine. This can involve light exercises, meditation, yoga, reading, or even just enjoying your cup of coffee alone. This will not only set the good mood and tone but will definitely help you feel relaxed and ready to start the day.
2. Get Plenty of Sleep
As adults, we often get too caught up with too many tasks that we don't get enough rest than what we need. In order to boost our energy and recharge our mind and body, make sure you get plenty of Zzzz at night. To help you sleep better, try adding a teaspoon of honey in your night time drink.
3. Always make time for dear family and friends
Spending quality time with family and friends is absolutely healthy for our mind, heart, and soul. Make sure you schedule a regular meetup with your family and friends, especially when you're a very busy person. Take a time off from work and other duties, and just have fun!
4. Reward yourself
Yes! You read that right. Reward yourself whenever you complete a key task, hit a milestone or achieve a specific goal. You may think rewards sound expensive but the truth is that it doesn’t have to be. You can start with things that will not kill your budget. In addition, personal rewards motivate you to push forward.
5. Positive language
A lot of people don’t seem to understand that their words can make or break a person. It can shape a person’s thoughts and actions and often time affect his/her attitude. So learn to speak to others and especially to yourself in the positive. Always think before you speak and don’t forget to choose the right words!
